Amazon Kindle Warranty for Accidental Damage?

-The screen on my Amazon Kindle 3 that I've had since January was accidentally damaged today. Does Amazon cover accidental damages or is it just techinical issues?Hardware and Firmware issues only, will be covered by normal 12 month manufacturers warranty.



Extended Warranties often cover damage for around $35 to $50 bucks a year, well worth the price in my humble opinion.



Actual user caused damage is on the user to get fixed. That is why companies like Best Buy and Amazon always offer those Extended Warranties, that no one wants to buy, well until something happens. So contact both Kindle and Amazon for service options. If you did not decide to take out in Kindle insurance, yup there is insurance for e-readers too through Amazon.
