Blackberry 8900 suffered water damage,key board not functioning?

-Screen is though, not even trackball is working.As weird as it sounds take off the back and the battery and put them each in a bowl of rice for about 2 days. The rice will absorb the water. I know it sounds crazy but it works. And if it doesn't work... Your phone is broken... Make sure the rice isn't cooked either. Any rice will do though.
I found leaving the phone in the airing cupboard/ boiler room (whatever you call it:)) for a few days fixed mine. After the first day it didnt dry out much but sprang to life after a while:)
