My blackberry won't turn on ?

-Over the weekend I went on vacation and forgot the charger so it died I got back last night and put it on the charger and the red light went on and won't go away it's not flashing or anything. How do I get it to turn on again I tried taking out the batterie that doesn't work either. What do I do ?
